It’s always heartening to hear from other patients about their successful stem cell treatments, whether that’s for hair, Lyme disease, painful joints or a stem cell facelift. People want to know how it felt to have the stem cells extracted and reinjected, what is involved and of course, how well the stem cells worked for them.

“I had been slowly losing my hair for years. I didn’t worry at first because my two older brothers were also losing their hair. But I suddenly realised that I’d lost even more than they had and everyone thought we were similar ages, even though I’m at least 10 years younger! I went to see Dr Rogers and he told me about recent advances and different options for hair loss, including medication and hair transplants. I liked the idea though of stem cells as they can benefit you even if you do the other things.

So my photos show the results after 6 months and hopefully may get further thickening over the next 18 months.”
